How to import/export the theme?

Step 1: Open the Import & Export Panel

Scroll down in the left sidebar of the theme editor.
Click on the Import & Export section to expand it.

Step 2: Sync Theme Across Store Views

If your website supports multiple store views (e.g., English and Arabic), you can copy the theme design from one to another using the Sync option.

Under Sync → Copy From, open the dropdown.
Choose the store view you want to copy from (e.g., English).
The current view will update with the selected view's settings.

This action overwrites your current theme with the selected one, so use it carefully.

Step 3: Export a Theme

To save your current theme as a file for backup or reuse:

In the Export section, click the EXPORT THEME button.
Your browser will download a .json configuration file.

Use this to create a backup before making big changes or to move the design to another store.

Step 4: Import a Theme

To upload a saved theme file:

In the Import section, click Choose File or drag your .json theme file into the import area.
Click the IMPORT THEME button.
The theme editor will load and apply the imported settings.

Only valid Sabat theme files can be imported. Make sure the format and structure haven’t been altered.

Step 5: Save Changes

After importing or syncing, don’t forget to click SAVE at the bottom of the editor to apply the theme changes to your storefront.
